Project Overview New Facilities Renovations or Improvements

This project includes installation of air conditioning at Boykin Community Center Gym and Frank Brown Recreation Center Gym. The addition of the permanent air conditioning is part of the City's investments of ARPA funds from the federal government to improve air quality year-round for activities including summer recreation, polling places, and other uses.​​

The project was completed on Sep 30, 2023 with a total capital budget of $646,099.53.
